Some scents are bright-eyed and ready for the day.
Before People is not one of those scents.
Before People smells like coffee first. Not coffee-adjacent. Not mocha-choca-latta-yaya chai latte but "teehee I'm a coffee drinker." Not vaguely café-themed. Coffee with one firm boundary: nobody needs to speak before caffeine has entered the building.
There’s a little caramel, sugar, and cream tucked in the background, but they're not driving the bus. They smooth the edges, add a little warmth, and then sit down quietly where they belong. The coffee stays in charge.
This is the scent for slow mornings, tired hands, shower thoughts, and anyone who has ever stared at another human being while silently thinking, “Don't even. Not yet.”
It doesn't smell like dessert pretending to be coffee. It smells like the part of the morning where coffee becomes less of a beverage and more of a survival strategy.
We really could have just called this one “Coffee soap” and it would have been totally accurate, but totally vboring. Before People tells the truth.
Notes: coffee, soft caramel, cream, a little sugar
Vibe: fresh coffee, low patience, caffeine required before further discussion.
